Devotional 1 John 5

Isn’t it amazing that the creator of the universe hears your prayers? Even the ones that you may think are silly or just you crying your heart out. He hears those as well! The only stipulation to this is that it be within His will. 

How do we know if it’s within His will or not? I would say that might be difficult in that particular moment because a lot of times we let our feelings overrule what we know God has already told us. After some more thought and prayer, I’m sure it will be clear if what you was asking is within His will or not.

His word says this in First John chapter 5, verse 14:

“And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he hearest us.”
